Trengganu Fish Market: FRESH!!!

A Trengganu recommended us the fish market, because
the catch of the day had just come in...and yes, it was FRESH!

The best specimen of fishes that you can find
The only fish I see are those at the supermarket
delivered maybe a day later
Even the Ah Sohs shop here
City girls!  .... So smelly!
Wet, fishy, with fish smell, what else?

Even mini white sharks!
Sting ray
Giganti mantra ray
All sorts of exotic fish
Bunga ketam

They haven't been to a wet market, let alone a wet, fish market!

Neck and Shoulder Massage at Tanjung Jara

The swimming pool and its environs presented nice landscapes
for photo opportunities.

Large urns strategically placed added to the ambience of the place.
Azure blue waters.
Bersanatai de tepi pantai.
Relaxing and bonding time.
Tastefully designed pools.
Impressive poolside enhanced the look of the lobby
with pale lilac water lilies
Little girl decided to break into a dance: Breakdance.
We had complimentary massage at the lobby
soothing neck muscles
Head and shoulders, neck and scalp relaxing massage
Even the children wanted one.
While the two little ones wait
Nicest free massage!

Tanjung Jara Day 2

The next morning, we had breakfast on the veranda....kampung style

Rustic scenery with wooden pavilions and trees aplenty
Bridges and gazebos recreated the village scenario
The place where we had breakfast: raised platforms with Malay style railings
This was the bridge on which I stood many years ago

That's me in 1980's
Funny! how this bridge has stood the test of time
Another view of the veranda with water under the stilts
Strolling out to the main lobby
Malay massage artifacts were on display
Children were very fascinated with the incense and spa things container
A wide array of natural traditional spa beauty aids
Mummy and auntie (me) has gone for neck massage...next post!!!
