The Beach and Rugged Mountains of Trengganu

The East Coast of Malaysia is different from the West Coast.
It is more scenic, unspoilt and left undeveloped, which should be the way,
because no one wants to see man made sidewalks, walls(!!) and artificial trees.

Endless stretches of sand, not walled-in in any way, and natural beautiful trees.
Uncrowded and unlettered.
Casaurina trees, clear horizon and tiny figures dotted the sea edge.
Driving home, we saw smoke belching out!!
It's the Petronas petroleum plant!!! Beaches have given way to modern march of humanity.
Last few vestiges of the tropical rain-forest.
Rugged mountains still give a breathtaking view and make for a pleasant drive home.
Craggy peaks of the Main Range.
Notice something? Still no traffic jam yet.......
