Animals of Kijal

Moving away from the laid-back people of Trengganu, we focussed on the animals.
A nanny goat and her kid
Look at this fine specimen of a lamb!!! So cute!!! who could be so cruel as to eat lamb?
The ram, the ewes crossing obstacles.
Mummy nursing her lamb or kid.
But some how, they got separated
Mummy!!!! Mek mek mek
Wow! A cock and his harem of three hens!
He looks so regal and they are always three steps behind him.
No chickens around..they are not ready to start a family yet!
Meanwhile this herd of buffaloes were sunning themselves by the sea.
Then they decided to go back en masse
First they were at the side of the road
Then they got ready to cross the road
Awesome! cars have to stop to let the buffaloes cross the road!!!
They go beyond the turnstile, how to find their way? they use their herd instinct!
 More crossing the road
 Back to Kijal
 The stragglers
We really follow their every move! We even had the on video!

We followed them so much, this bull was ready to charge at us!
Caroline first noticed this leader who looks out for his herd!
She was so frightened and so we took flight and drove off before he rammed our car!!
(but I do not know why this photo is not flipped!)
