Turtle Sanctuary, Cherating

Driving down towards Cherating, we came to where Club Med is situated.
However, we went to the Turtle Sanctuary and Hatchery next to
it as we did not book any Club Med holiday.

Turtle Hatchery

A peek through the wire fence revals rows and rows of marked dates
of when the babies would be hatched.

The scenery at Cherating just blows your mind away

The girls enjoy the salty spray of the sea breeze on their cheeks

They are only 6 and 7 at this time

All species of turtles are here at the gawking zoo

I did not caption the turtles because, I frankly do not know their names, except maybe the Indian Star tortoise. At the time the picture was taken (in June, it was not the nesting season, so the children did not get to see turtles coming ashore to lay eggs).
