Going Home from Merang

After spending time in Merang where we visited Sutra Resort and Aryani Resort
(but we stayed at Best Western Merang Suria Resort only)
we had to drive back all the way from Marang past Tanjung Jara and Kijal.
Please look at the map below (not so clear though).

Pulau Perhentian, Besut, Pulau Redang,
South China Sea (Laut Cina Selatan),
Kuala Terengganu, Pulau Kapas,
Marang, Tasik Kenyir Lake,
Air Terjun Sekayu Waterfalls,
Rantau Abang, Tanjong Jara (Tanjung Jara),
Pulau Tenggol (Tenggul Island), Kuala Dungun,
Paka, Kertih, Kemaman, Terengganu,
Taman Negara (National Park), Pahang.

The ones in red were the places that I
have covered so far.
 
 
 
 
 
So sad...we were driving back now...

Past some nice houses in Trengganu

All along the roadside we saw Madu Lebah Asli (pure bee honey)

And of course: AIR NIRA

We stopped to buy Air Nira

She bought two bottles

I don't know why she had to run!

Sweet corn for sale too

 

 While sister engaged Mak Cik in friendly banter, I crept to the back 

 and  sneaked a peak at their quarters

"Mummy!! Stop snooping!"

Some unidentifiable stuff cooking

And a "60's" toilet

Tandas enam puluhan..only for the very brave or very urgently desperate

Then we stopped at the marble and tiled restroom at Tanjung Jara

So very spacious and big and a far cry from the 60's toilet

with award winning architecture

and nature inspired handmade toiletries

Millie wants to stay at Tanjung Jara too someday 

Back again on the road
